Becoming Sovereign

She does not ask permission to exist in grandeur. This work uses textile-like layers and painted fragments of gold and red to build an image of quiet authority. Her posture is grounded; her gaze is confident. She is composed of many traditions, symbols, and echoes — her sovereignty emerging from complexity. The piece celebrates a South Asian visual language reimagined through modern femininity.
